Our Canoes
Kahehinalu
"Skimming the waves" - Our Force 5 built by Ken Pua'a and completed in November 2005.  She was blessed and launched on 7 December, 2005

Pualani
Meaning "Beautiful Flower".  A Malia, one of two canoes purchased from Hui Nalu Canoe Club in November.  She was refurbished by Coach Randy with a lot of help from our student paddlers and painted by Ken Pua'a.

Manu O Ku
"Bird of the Warrior God" From the Hawaiian Catamaran mold, she was a unique 5 seat sailing canoe with high gunnels.  Word has it she was  the original modern sailing canoe and she still has the mast step behind seat two.  We shortened the manu hope and installed what now is seat one.  Modified and refurbished by Coach Randy and painted by Ken Pua'a
Ehukai
Meaning "Ocean Spray".  A "mature" and distinguished Malia on loan from the Joshua Makua family.  With some elbow grease from the paddlers and a stormy weekend of painting for Coach Randy and the Vars boys, she now looks like one of our own.  Thanks Josh, we don't know what we would do without her.
Kaulu
Named for the notorious trickster god, Kaulu, who, as legend has it, is responsible for making the swells small on the windward side of Oahu.   Built from the Walter Guild OC-4 mold in September 2004 by Ken Pua'a.
She is on loan from Coach Randy.
This pic taken on 5 December 2005, just before hooking up and taking Pualani, Kahehinalu and Manu O Ku up the windward side from Kaneohe to Haleiwa.  It was an unforgettable day for Mililani Canoe Club
